Project 002_film

End of term 1 film. It starts with a body in the space, a body that creates space. There is a added complexity, a sum of representations onto the space. There exists a relationship between both complexities and between the different layers of representation. There is the idea of projections to represent depth of meaning and definitions of layered reality. The shadows of the individual creating the space are projected; the urban landscape exists outside the space but a mental representation of it is seen from inside this space in a distorted way. This creates an internal dynamism and ambiguity. (00:01:28; low resolution; the lines that define the space are missing).

Project 002_projections test

Test of the urban environment projections on the screens. The intention is to represent a new urban landscape created with different scenes of a city, which are connected. This kind of visualization would be shown at the end of the film (term 1) only as a result of the process initiated by the individual at the beginning of the film and with the intention to suggest possibilities.
